Since its establishment in 1987, APFS has been providing a wide range of support to foreign residents. Last year, in collaboration with the non-profit organization ASIAN COMMUNITY TAKASHIMADAIRA, they conducted training and courses for foreign residents under the title "Comprehensive support project for the independence of foreign residents," and explored ways for foreign residents to find employment in industries such as nursing care.
On Saturday, March 5, 2016, we held an international symposium entitled "Challenges in the Dispatch of Care Workers and Support for Foreign Residents - Learning from the Experiences of the Philippines and Indonesia," which was attended by approximately 90 people, including participants from overseas. We have completed a report on our activities during fiscal year 2015. You can download it from our website. Please take a look.
