We held a report meeting for the "22 Families' Simultaneous Action to Petition a Retrial."

On July 4, 2010, APFS's22 family retrial petitions all at onceWe held a debriefing session for "[the project]" at the Itabashi Ward Cultural Center.First, out of 22 families and 72 individuals, 11 families and 39 individuals have so far obtained special permission to stay in Japan.It was reported that this had happened.

Next, reports were given on the activities of the 22 families who have worked together to obtain special permission to stay in Japan. Discussions were also held regarding the strategies to be adopted for families who have already received special permission and those who have not yet received it. This meeting marks the end of the movement within the framework of the 22 families, but APFS reaffirmed its firm commitment to continuing to support undocumented foreign residents in the future.
