Grant for counselor training course approved

The APFS Counselor Training Course, which began in June 2023, has been selected to receive a grant from Pal System Tokyo's "Citizen Activities Grant Fund" for fiscal year 2023. The presentation ceremony was held at Pal System Tokyo Shinjuku Headquarters on Sunday, October 7, 2023, and was attended by Representative Yoshida and volunteer staff member Yamazaki. At the ceremony, we received a list of the grants and gave a presentation introducing the course. We listened to presentations and talks by other organizations (in fields such as education, the environment, support for foreigners, and food support), and were very inspired by the way local residents work together and steadily carry out their activities.

Thanks to your support, the counselor training course is almost full, but there are still two spaces available for the final session (Sunday, January 28, 2024) where we will be holding a talk with those involved. We believe that this session will be extremely helpful for those interested in this field to hear directly from those involved who came to APFS with actual problems and how they solved them.
