Press conference in Bangladesh

APFS is working on a three-year project-based class with the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University called "International Movement and Exchange of People: A Case Study between Japan and Bangladesh."

From Monday, September 7th to Friday, September 11th, 2015, we conducted interviews with 10 returnee migrants from Japan who are originally from the Bikraborty (Munshiganj) region of Bangladesh.

A total of nine people, including Professor Tetsuo Mizukami of Rikkyo University's Faculty of Sociology and APFS Advisor Katsuo Yoshinari, went to the site.
A press conference was also held at the site to discuss the findings of the hearings, and was covered by many journalists. The press conference was covered by various newspapers.

APFS will continue to work in collaboration with Rikkyo University's School of Sociology.
