APFS Oshima Disaster Relief Volunteer Program (Day 1) has successfully concluded.

Three people arrived at Oshima.

The APFS Oshima disaster relief volunteer activity (Day 1) has successfully concluded.

The following is a report from volunteer leader Mirza.

We departed from Takeshiba Pier at 8:40 AM on November 28th (Thursday) and arrived at Oshima Island a little after 10:30 AM.
Upon arrival, I immediately joined the volunteer work.
I worked with other volunteers to remove the mud and debris that had entered the hotel grounds.
They said they did it together.

Tomorrow (Friday the 29th), I plan to engage in volunteer work from 8:20 AM until the end of the day.

This time, APFS is operating solely with foreign volunteers, without any Japanese staff accompanying the group.
I hope this message reaches many people, including foreigners living in Japan who are concerned about disasters in Japan.

This project is being funded through JustGiving Japan (a fundraising site).
We are collecting donations. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
