Press conference in Bangladesh

APFS is working on a three-year project-based class with the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University called "International Movement and Exchange of People: A Case Study between Japan and Bangladesh."

As part of our first year's activities, we conducted interviews with 10 returnee migrants from Japan originally from the Bikraborty region of Bangladesh from September 14th (Sun) to 18th (Thu), 2014.

Professor Tetsuo Mizukami of the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University, two other professors and one graduate student, along with APFS Advisor Katsuo Yoshinari, visited the site.

On the first day, a press conference was held on-site and was covered by many journalists. The press conference was covered in various newspapers.

APFS will continue to work in collaboration with Rikkyo University's School of Sociology.
