Scenes from a press conference in Bangladesh

APFS is collaborating with the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University on a three-year project-based course titled "International Human Migration and Exchange: A Case Study Between Japan and Bangladesh."

As one of the projects for the first year, we conducted interviews with 10 returning Japanese immigrants from the Bikrappur region of Bangladesh from September 14th (Sunday) to 18th (Thursday), 2014.

Professor Tetsuo Mizukami of the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University, along with two other professors, one graduate student, and APFS advisor Katsuo Yoshinari, traveled to the site.

On the first day, we held a press conference on-site and were interviewed by numerous newspaper reporters. The press conference was covered in various newspapers.

APFS will continue to collaborate with the Faculty of Sociology at Rikkyo University to advance its projects.
