APFS Oshima Disaster Relief Volunteer (Day 1) successfully completed

The three arrived on Oshima

The APFS Oshima Disaster Relief Volunteer Program (Day 1) has ended successfully.

Below is a report from volunteer leader Mirza.

We departed from Takeshiba Pier at 8:40 on Thursday, November 28th, and arrived at Oshima just after 10:30.
Upon arriving, we immediately joined the volunteer work.
Working with other volunteers to remove the soil and sand that had invaded the hotel grounds
It seems they cooperated.

Tomorrow (Friday the 29th), I will be volunteering all day starting at 8:20.

This time, no Japanese staff from APFS will be accompanying the group, and the activities will be carried out solely by foreign volunteers.
I hope that many foreigners living in Japan are also concerned about disasters, and that this message will reach out to many people.

This project is being carried out on JustGiving Japan (fundraising site).
We are currently collecting donations. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
