[Suraju Incident] July 30th One-Day Protest Action

Let's protest the decision not to prosecute in the Suraj case!!

Urgent Announcement: Let's protest the decision not to prosecute in the Suraj case!!
July 30th: One-Day Protest Action

On March 22, 2010, Abubagar Awudu Suraj (hereinafter referred to as Mr. Suraj), a Ghanaian national, died while being deported at government expense. The cause of death was excessive restraint by immigration officials accompanying him. Mr. Suraj's Japanese wife filed a criminal complaint against the immigration officials on June 28, 2010. More than two years later, on July 3 of this year, the Chiba District Public Prosecutors Office decided not to prosecute. Until now, the cause of Mr. Suraj's death was unknown, but now it has been fabricated that he had a heart condition, and this is being presented as the cause of death.
Mrs. Suraj and we, his supporters, will hold a "July 30th One-Day Protest Action" to protest this decision not to prosecute. We invite as many people as possible to participate, demand a fair process for the national compensation lawsuit, and put pressure on the Chiba District Public Prosecutors Office, which is covering up the crimes of its own colleagues!
