A single-parent family of Filipino nationality supported by APFS was granted special residence permission on November 22nd.
All family members have the status of "long-term resident." Recently, parents have been giving their children the opportunity to study abroad instead of returning to their home countries.
In most cases, special permission to stay was granted, so the whole family, including the "permanent resident"
It was really good news to receive my residence permit.
This family initially had no nationality for their children, so they had to first register their births with the local government.
We started providing support. After that, he appeared at the immigration bureau and has been interviewed by the bureau many times.
I received the treatment. The mother was taking care of two children by herself and was unable to work.
Life was also difficult. APFS uses donations from everyone to send food and support children.
We provided subsidies for transportation costs to school. We also cooperated with the children's school officials.
I've done what I can.
I am very happy that our family's ability to settle down has been recognized and we have achieved such a positive result.
APFS will continue its support activities steadily.
