We submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Justice regarding the legalization of undocumented immigrants.

On March 27, 2019, we submitted a "Recommendation Regarding the Regularization of Illegal Immigrants" to the Ministry of Justice.

Following the implementation of the new immigration law in April of this year, there has been much discussion in the media and in the Diet, but non-regular workers
Nothing was discussed regarding relief for those staying there. On the contrary, at the cabinet meeting in December last year...
The decided "Comprehensive measures for accepting and coexisting with foreign personnel" include "illegal immigrants, etc."
The policy emphasizes "thorough elimination," and includes measures such as stricter monitoring of the movements of those on provisional release and the early enforcement of deportation orders.

They argued that the system should be used flexibly to legalize undocumented immigrants.

The recommendations include: 1. Providing written explanations regarding the approval or denial of special status for residents; 2. Providing or denying special status for residents.
In making this decision, in addition to the "Guidelines for Special Permission to Stay in Japan," there are also international human rights treaties (International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights).
3. Take into consideration the Convention on the Rights of the Child, etc. 3. Establish the appeal for retrial as a legal system.
4. In particular, children born and raised in Japan should be granted special status.
I listed a total of four things.

Mr. Tamura, section chief, and Mr. Kizaki from the General Affairs Division of the Immigration Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, handled the matter, stating that they had received many petitions and requests related to immigration.
Regarding undocumented immigrants, if public awareness of the problem grows, the treatment will be changed considering the current situation.
Therefore, such policy recommendations are necessary. However, until the Specified Skills program gets on track...
The view was that they would then focus their efforts on that area.

APFS will continue to support undocumented immigrants and will raise their voices together with them.
I think so.
