Join us for the 20th Migrant Workers' Gathering!
A new Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act came into effect this April, and many new foreign workers—migrant workers—will be coming to Japan. However, this new law was implemented without sufficient discussion and was rushed into action. Foreign workers who have worked in Japan until now have suffered from unfair dismissals, unpaid wages, and discrimination in the workplace simply because they are foreigners. Furthermore, technical trainees have had their hopes dashed by the contradictory system itself.
For the sake of future foreign workers coming to Japan, it is essential that foreign workers currently working in Japan raise their voices and strongly assert their rights as workers.
Let's gather again this year and raise our voices in battle!
