[100 Days of Action: The Aftermath] A series has begun in the Asahi Shimbun morning edition (February 18th - February 21st).

The press conference at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan that served as the impetus for this series.

My series, "What Children Are Doing Now," has started in the education section of the Asahi Shimbun morning edition today.

Children without resident status who are aiming to obtain resident status with APFS will be featured for four consecutive days from February 18th (Thursday) to 21st (Sunday). The children's feelings were carefully interviewed.

From August 29, 2015 to January 17, 2016, APFS undertook the "100-Day Action to Nurture Children's Dreams." This series of articles was made possible solely because the children worked hard on the "100-Day Action."

On November 25, 2015, I held a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan. My courageous decision to speak out about my situation at that press conference led to this series of articles. The article dated February 18 (Thursday) includes photographs of the "100-Day Action," such as the "postcard action" in front of the Tokyo Immigration Bureau and the parade in Shibuya.

Getting our story published in the newspaper is by no means the goal. Our goal is to ensure that children can grow up in a safe environment and develop their futures with peace of mind. APFS plans to submit a request to the Ministry of Justice this fiscal year seeking special permission to stay in Japan for foreigners without legal residency status, including children.

We intend to continue our various activities in the future, but APFS's finances are far from stable. We need your support to carry out more dynamic activities.
