Since August 2014, APFS has been holding a workshop once a month to listen to the "hopes" of foreign residents.
Today we'll hear from Jamila, who is from Uganda.
Jamila is raising her daughter, who was born in Japan, on her own.
Your daughter was unable to obtain a passport from any country,
After four years of struggle, I acquired Japanese citizenship in December 2014.
Jamila has experienced many difficulties in Japan, but she has persevered and overcome them for the sake of her daughter.
We'll now hear what kind of "hopes" Jamila has.
This will be an opportunity for people of a wide range of generations and backgrounds to learn about APFS's activities,
I hope that hearing the "hopes" of one foreign resident will give you something to think about.
Please feel free to participate.
