Women from multicultural families who participated in the first training session

APFS, with funding from the Japan Welfare and Medical Service Agency, is working with the specified non-profit organization ASIAN COMMUNITY TAKASHIMADAIRA (Takashimadaira ACT) on the "Comprehensive Support Project for the Independence of Multicultural Families."
Starting on August 30, 2014 (Saturday), one of our projects, "Vocational Training for Career Development for Women from Multicultural Families," began. Five women from multicultural families are challenging themselves in the "Introductory Training for Care Workers," aiming to complete the course in February of next year.
The participants are from the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi woman was ill and missed the first session, but will participate from the second session onwards. This program is being implemented in cooperation with the I-Helper School in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
