Crowdfunding is a method of raising funds for a person or organization with a certain goal from a large number of supporters via the Internet.

In this project, we will simultaneously submit petitions to the local assemblies of approximately 40 cities, towns, and villages in Tokyo's 23 wards and where undocumented foreign residents live.
We would appreciate your support through READY FOR? to cover the travel expenses related to the project.

Irregular foreign residents are foreigners who do not yet have a residence permit. Various factors beyond the existence of an individual, such as the North-South gap and labor supply and demand, give rise to irregular foreign residents.
APFS has repeatedly submitted requests to the relevant government agencies (national government) together with the people involved, but in recent years, our requests have not been accepted.
I believe that it is precisely at times like these that we need to steadily build up from the bottom up. Some undocumented foreign residents help disabled people living in their neighborhoods with their shopping and continue to interact with elderly people.

If we could submit petitions to the 40 local assemblies, we would be able to inform local assembly members of the issues facing undocumented foreign residents. There are probably still very few local assembly members who are aware of this issue.
And if even one or two petitions are adopted by the local assembly, it will mean that the existence of undocumented foreign residents in the region is acknowledged. I am sure this will give undocumented foreign residents a push forward.
I am convinced that this will bring us one step closer to a tolerant society in which everyone can have hope.

If the target amount is not reached within the fundraising period, you will not receive a single penny. Also, in order to reach the target amount, a good start is essential.

This time, we are offering small gifts depending on the amount of your donation. These gifts will help you learn about APFS and interact with those involved.

We hope you will take a look at the project site.
