On July 10, 2013, Mr. Mohammed Monir Hossai (hereinafter referred to as Mr. Monir), a Bangladeshi national, obtained special permission to reside in Japan.
Although a deportation order had already been issued to MONIR, a retrial was initiated and he was granted special permission to stay in Japan.

Since October 2012, Monir has been working together as one of the 17 families and 3 individuals (34 people in total) seeking special permission to stay in Japan.
"I was able to get the visa thanks to APFS and everyone's support," Monir said, expressing his gratitude.

Monir had a pre-existing condition of hepatitis B. Amidst his unstable residency situation,
MONIR was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, and the cancer progressed without him realizing it.
Surgery is no longer an option.
Dreaming of re-entering Japan, Monir returned to her home country on July 19, 2013.

MONIR was able to obtain special permission to stay in Japan thanks entirely to everyone's support and cooperation.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
The fight continues as we strive to obtain special permission to stay in Japan, following in Monir's footsteps.
We would appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
