APFS made its first appearance at "Global Festa Japan 2011," which was held at Hibiya Park on October 1st and 2nd.
In our general booth, we displayed large sheets of paper on the wall to introduce APFS's activities and the Suraj case.
Many people, from students to senior citizens, visited our booth and listened attentively to our explanations.
I'm glad that so many people learned about APFS's activities.
Furthermore, many people have shown interest in Ms. Suraj's case.
At the food booth, we sold Bangladeshi chicken coconut curry and naan sets, as well as chai and lassi with tapioca pearls.
In particular, the naan baked right in front of customers was very popular, and a long line formed. Everyone was very interested in watching how the naan was baked.
Hassan, who made the curry, has provided meals at disaster-stricken areas in Iwate Prefecture several times.
There was also a wonderful coincidence: one of the customers happened to have eaten Hassan's curry at that time.
