A.P.F.S tries to consult with the related ministries constantly. On May 19th, Wednesday we negotiated with the Ministry of Justice. The sections of adjudication and security from the Ministry responded to the negotiation.
We handed in the 8,409 signatures.
A.P.F.S asked for these four points.
1. Please allow foreign families to have the Special Permisson for Residence.
2. Please clearfy the operation of a guideline of the Special Permisson for Residence.
3. Please explain the process of a death incident of Mr. ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ.
4. Please explain the reason why the judgment of Mr. ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ has not begun again.
The first and second points are involved with the guideline of the Special Permisson for Residence that was revised on Jury, 2009.
Based on the guidline, although there are foreign families who have obviously the same conditions, whether allowed or not allowed to get the Special Permisson for Residence is branched.
Also, there are families who wonder why they are not allowed to get the Residential Special Permisson.
A.P.F.S had considered with the positive factors on the guideline and demanded the Ministry to allow foreign families to have the Residential Special Permisson.
Moreover, we did hand in the 8,409 signatures to the Ministry based on the slogan “the Special Permisson for Residence for long-stay families”.
We emphasized that 8,409 of public opinions are on the signatures.
We appreciate to everyone who corporated with them.
The third and forth points are about the death incidence of Mr. ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ who died on the way of deportation on March 22nd.
The ordinary attitude of the immigration bureau, like that they can not talk anything since the police has been researching, has not been changing yet.
A.P.F.S emphasized that the truth is needed to be figured out not only for us but also the immigration bureau.
A.P.F.S hopes the things will be going to move somehow by this negotiation.
