On March 22, 2010 (a public holiday), we held a demonstration in conjunction with the "Ghana Association," mainly composed of Ghanaian volunteers, to commemorate the wife of Abubagar Awadu Suraj, who died during his forced repatriation. About 50 people gathered, including APFS staff and volunteers, regardless of nationality or skin color, with connections to Japan and various other countries, mainly people from Ghana and other African countries like Suraj.

I walked in the rain from Mikawadai Park in Roppongi, through Kasumigaseki, to Hibiya Park. During the approximately one-hour demonstration, under the leadership of my wife and close friends from SURAJ,WE WANT JUSTICE!!! – WE WANT JUSTICE!!!While making this appeal, they demanded an apology and explanation from the Ministry of Justice, particularly the Immigration Bureau, as well as a proper investigation by the Chiba Prefectural Police and the disclosure of information regarding it.
