APFS's Mayumi Yoshida gave a report on the current situation. She mentioned that obtaining a special visa has become increasingly difficult recently.
The situation was discussed, including the fact that despite filing numerous requests for retrial, the case was repeatedly denied. (2018)
It has been reported that four APFS members were re-detained in September and October, and three of them were immediately deported.
It was announced that the treatment of undocumented immigrants has become considerably stricter.
The atmosphere shifted dramatically from serious to a social gathering after the lecture. Participants included both Japanese and foreigners.
Each person had time to talk about their background, and the interaction was enjoyable.
