On July 12, 2017, a "Public Symposium on Special Residence Permits" was held at Itabashi City Cultural Hall. This was the eighth time the symposium was held, and APFS' Yoshinari reported on his visit to the Philippines, while former teacher and APFS volunteer Fukumoto reported on the theme of "School Space and 'Family Stays' and 'Irregular Stays'." In addition, Dr. Yamamura of Minatomachi Clinic, who conducted a survey of the actual situation in Vietnam, which sends many technical intern trainees to Japan, from late May to early June, reported on the results of his survey (with Dr. Yamamura's permission, this survey report will be sent to those who request it.
