On June 8th, we held a free medical consultation session at the APFS office. Just as the session was about to begin, an accident occurred on the nearest train line, which had to cancel operations, but once operations resumed, all patients arrived safely.
Most of the patients were from Asia, but it was striking that more than one-third of them were from Africa this time. After taking a medical history and taking blood pressure measurements, the doctor examined them and, if necessary, provided referrals to hospitals or introduced them to the nearest hospital in their area. This was the first time that a psychiatric consultation was also included in the medical consultation. Some patients had rather severe symptoms, and we plan to consider how to link this to future treatment.
