On Thursday, October 12, 2017, the 10th Citizens' Consultation Meeting on Special Permission to Stay in Japan was held at the Itabashi Ward Cultural Center.
On this day, building upon the agenda from previous meetings, we reviewed the content of each chapter and column in the publication plan and decided on deadlines and other details. Regarding the recommendations for the 7th Immigration Policy Roundtable, we began drafting the proposal and decided to complete it by the end of the year and submit it in the new year. The details of the proposal are being finalized, and we plan to have it largely written by the next meeting.
The next event, the 11th in the series, will be held on November 29th.
