From mid-October for one month, APFS worked on a crowdfunding project titled "Creating a system where foreigners help other foreigners, and training courses for foreign-born leaders."
By 11:00 PM on November 16th, we had received support from 100 people, achieving a fantastic result of 878,000 yen in total support, exceeding our goal of 800,000 yen.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported this project!
The project is still ongoing, but as a temporary milestone, I am truly delighted to share with everyone the achievement of our crowdfunding goal.
On Saturday, November 19th, we held our sixth lecture, "Social Welfare Systems." It seems that people are drawn to places with momentum. In addition to the 20 participants, a total of 31 people attended, including observers. It was so crowded that the phrase "packed like sardines" would be a fitting description.
In the course, we addressed each aspect of the "social welfare system," such as "pensions," "insurance," and "child allowances," clarifying any points of confusion. Before we knew it, the following questions arose:
Are current working generations paying into the pension system because they expect to receive a pension in the future? What should the system be like going forward?
Why are there so many homeless people in Japan, even though there is a welfare system in place?
The discussion progressed from learning about individual systems to considering the nature of Japanese society. I wanted to develop this space beyond a mere lecture into something with even greater potential.
Your donations will be used carefully for the project. We will also be sending out the rewards to all of you who have supported us in due course.
We would greatly appreciate your continued support for the project and APFS!
