APFS is working on a "100-Day Action Program to Nurture Children's Dreams."
We aim to create a society where all children, including those in undocumented immigration, can fulfill their dreams.
As part of this action, following on from October, on Friday, November 20th, in front of the Tokyo Immigration Bureau,
I sent out postcards (for the second time).
APFS aims to help children who are undocumented immigrants to fulfill their dreams for the future in Japan.
I am creating a postcard requesting that special permission to stay be granted promptly.
We are collecting signatures and messages on postcards.
As the cold weather intensified, we collected postcards, mainly from children.
The postcard included messages such as the following:
I received many warm messages.
"Please grant residency status to children who were born and raised in Japan and who have a Japanese spirit."
"A future for children with a bright future"
"I believe we should ensure that children can pursue higher education with peace of mind."
We've already collected over 100 postcards.
We will collect a few more postcards and send them all to the Ministry of Justice at the appropriate time.
APFS is looking for people to send us messages on postcards.
We will provide more details soon, so we would greatly appreciate your cooperation.
