APFS has been implementing the "Comprehensive Support for the Independence of Multicultural Families" project since June 2014 (scheduled to be subsidized by the Welfare and Medical Services Agency). As part of the project, we provide "vocational training for career development for women from multicultural families."
Foreign residents have difficulty entering society due to language and cultural barriers. Some are forced to give up due to economic reasons, even if they want to acquire certain skills. Therefore, we will enable them to work in stable workplaces with higher wages while acquiring skills as a care worker, which will be in short supply in the future. We want to enable women in multicultural families to become independent and have "hope" for the future.
First, we will understand the concerns and problems the participants face in their daily lives. Next, we will have them participate in a beginner's Japanese class. Finally, we will have them take the initial care worker training course.

We are now looking for participants for the "Vocational training for career development for women from multicultural families." We welcome those who meet all of the following conditions.

【conditions】
1) Ability to attend beginner's Japanese language classes without missing any classes
(Every Saturday from 16:30 to 18:00 at the NPO ASIAN COMMUNITY TAKASHIMADAIRA office (Takashimadaira, Itabashi Ward)
2) Ability to attend the initial training for caregivers without missing a day
(Scheduled to take place every Saturday or Sunday in Tokyo from late August to the end of December)

All programs are free of charge (however, you will be asked to cover the actual cost of transportation to the Japanese language classes and training locations).
