We have filed a petition with the Prosecutor's Office in the Suraj case.

A press conference was also held after the allegations were made.

On 18th April 2014, Mr. Suraj's wife became the petitioner.
Nine immigration officials who accompanied Suraj on his deportation are suspects.
We have submitted a petition for review of the prosecution to the Chiba Prosecutors' Review Board.

The "Petition calling for immigration officials to indict" that you all contributed to is
The total number of signatures was 1,925, and these were submitted to the review committee as attachments along with the petition.
Thank you very much to everyone who helped.

As you know, the recent ruling by the District Court for State Compensation found the "illegal" acts of restraint by immigration officials,
The court acknowledged the causal relationship between the act of subjugation and Suraj's death.
We have no choice but to say that the decision of the local prosecutor's office to "not indict on the basis of no suspicion" is unjust.
We must properly question the criminal responsibility of the immigration officials who drove Suraj to his death.
I hope that prosecution will follow.

In the future, while we wait for the results of this review committee,
The civil appeal will continue.
We appreciate your continued support.
