APFS conducted a survey in the Philippines from July 25th (Thursday) to July 28th (Sunday), 2013. The survey focused on Filipinos who were repatriated on a chartered flight on July 6th (Saturday).
During our four-day stay, we were able to hear from 12 individuals (10 men, 1 woman, and 1 child) who were directly affected. Furthermore, on Friday the 26th, we held a press conference with two of these individuals. The press conference was attended by numerous media outlets, both Japanese and international.

In addition to interviewing those directly involved, we also visited the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) and the CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas).
We will continue to examine and analyze the survey results and plan to compile a report in the near future. Thanks to the cooperation of many people, including Filipinos residing in Japan, we were able to complete the survey in a short period of time. We express our gratitude to everyone who cooperated.
