[Suraju case] Announcement of website launch

In March 2010, a Ghanaian man, ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ (hereinafter referred to as Suraj), died during government-sponsored deportation. Suraj's death occurred when immigration officials accompanying him on the deportation forcefully restrained him using foot handcuffs, towels, and personal cable ties, which are not permitted by the rules. APFS works with Suraj's family, friends, and legal team to carry out various activities demanding that the government and immigration officials investigate the truth of Suraj's case.

In order to raise awareness of the Suraj case, which has yet to be solved even now, two years after the incident, we launched a website for the Suraj case in June 2012. This website contains detailed information about the Suraj case, and we will also use it to report on our activities and future plans.
