APFS was launched on August 18, 2014."Petition calling for the regularization of long-term undocumented foreign residents and the creation of a society in which everyone can have hope"This is being conducted for 36 local assemblies.
The petition was featured prominently on NHK News 7 and has caused a great stir. We have also received many inquiries from local assembly members.
We are currently raising funds for travel expenses to make a petition to the local assembly through the crowdfunding site "READY FOR?"
Crowdfunding is a method of raising funds for a person or organization with a certain goal from a large number of supporters via the Internet.
Depending on the amount of your donation, we will provide a small gift.
These include discount and free tickets for the "Workshop to Listen to the Hopes of Foreigners" and "APFS HOME PARTY," which APFS has been running since this year.
There are only 2 weeks left until the sponsorship deadline. If we don't reach our goal by October 31, 2014, we won't get a single yen (all money will be returned to the sponsors).
As of October 17th, we have reached 169,000 yen, which is 84% of the goal, so we are just a little ways away from reaching the goal.
There are still some council meetings where we will have to explain the purpose of our petition to local assembly members and visit party groups, so travel expenses will still be incurred.
By exceeding our target amount (200,000), we would like to convey to society in a visible way that there is a great deal of understanding about building a society where everyone can have "hope."
We appreciate your support.
