Living Together, Helping Each Other: Foreign Residents in Japan Support Disaster Victims

On NHK WORLD RADIO JAPAN ONLINE (April 22, 2011),
The soup kitchen project in Iwate Prefecture, which was coordinated by our organization, was introduced.
It was broadcast in 17 languages.

Below is a summary of the broadcast content (in English).
Among more than two million foreigners living in Japan, quite many are suffering from the damage caused by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami. But, as members of the Japanese society, the foreign residents have started doing what they can to support the disaster victims. This program reports on their activities and the feelings of the people participating in the efforts.
