APFS makes it a point to hold regular discussions with relevant government ministries and agencies.
On Wednesday, May 19th, we held negotiations with the Ministry of Justice.
APFS was represented by representative Jotaro Kato and three other members.
From the Ministry of Justice, Masaaki Nakayama, assistant director of the Judgment Division, Tetsuro Isobe, assistant director of the Security Division, and others,

APFS has made the following four requests:
1. Please grant me special permission to stay
2. Please clarify how the guidelines regarding special permission to stay will be implemented
3. Please explain the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ.
4. Please explain why the retrial of Mr. ABUBAKAR AWUDU SURAJ was not started.

The first and second points are from the revised version of the "Guidelines for Special Permission to Stay"

In light of the above guidelines, even among foreign families with apparently similar conditions,
There is a distinction between permitted and unpermitted.
Some families are wondering, "Why aren't we recognized?"
APFS has taken into consideration the "positive elements" of the guidelines,
We requested that our foreign family be granted special residence permission.

The third and fourth points were that the deceased died during repatriation on March 22nd.

The Ministry of Justice's Immigration Bureau's stance has not changed.
However, two months have passed since the incident.
APFS believes that the Immigration Bureau of the Ministry of Justice should also investigate the truth.
