On Sunday, March 31, 2013, a report session on the Suraj incident was held at the Ikebukuro Consumer Industry Plaza.
Attorney Kentaro Iida from the defense team gave a concise and easy-to-understand explanation of the legal developments in the case so far, particularly the contents of the lawsuit seeking state compensation.
Suraj's wife and friends shared their memories of Suraj when he was alive.
His wife said that three years have passed since the incident, but at the same time, these three years have seemed to go by in a flash, and also been a long and painful time.
There were about 50 participants. It was an opportunity to reaffirm our determination to spread support for this incident together with the participants so that more people can learn about it.
