On March 22nd, 2010, ABUBAKAR AWADU SURAJ who is from Ghana passed away on the way of forced repatriation.
A.P.F.S. had been supporting ABUBAKAR AWADU SURAJ.

Supporters and his family were asking for the explanation of its process and apology to the Immigration Bureau in Ministry of Justice and the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau Office.

On March 25th, Supporters and his family offered to the Immigration Bureau in Ministry of Justice, however, they insisted that they left all the answer to the police search. That is why the detail of the incident just became clear from one side and there was no response anymore from the office.

A.P.F.S. and other Ghanaians, were indignant with such correspondence, offered to the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau Office together on April 30th.
Five of representatives actually entered into the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau Office and handed in the demanding forms.

These are the three contents that they offered.

1, Please explain the process of the incident to his family
2, Please apologize officially to his family
3, Please give the logical reason why the judgement of Mr. SURAJ has not begun again.

Offering took for an hour since the office’s insincere corresponding.
The responsible people from the general affairs section and executive department promised that they will consider and answer about it.
However, it should have answered before the offering so that his family and Ghanaians are really indignant with the office.

During the offering, the A.P.F.S. staff and Ghanaians made a protest in front of the office.
They gained full of sympathy and encouragement from many people who were visiting the office. More than 100 people were listening to the protest some time.
Also, about 300 prepared broachers became out of stock in a minute. It told us how people are deeply concerned about this case.

A.P.F.S. is going to continue to ask for the explanation of process and apologies to the Immigration Bureau in Ministry of Justice and the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau Office.

Also, we are going to complain about the accurate response to Keiko Chiba Law Cabinet Minister.
We are waiting for support from you.
