Abubakar Awudu Suraj, a Ghanaian then 45 years old, passed away on March 22, 2010 during repatriate process at government expense. Unfortunately the truth of this happening has not been clarified yet. Bereaved family unfortunately has been spending stressful days with sadness and anger.
The widow once a while smiles during most uneasy daily life if she watches illustrations drawn by her late husband. Before his death he drew a lot of illustrations, some of which were used as an art work of magazines and disc jacket of CDs.
In this autumn the first trial hearing on compensation claim against the government was held.
“Little Africa” will be held for two days to realize our wish to have many people understand the personality and the incident around Suraj. In the event African dishes cooked by Mrs. Suraj are served. We appreciate it if you could come to the exhibition. Your heart will become warm.
